Demi Chef, Boutique Hotel, Salary at £20,500 p.a. tips, Ramsbury Chefshare is recruiting for a Demi Chef to join the team in our clients wonderful award-winning boutique hotel. The hotel is located in Ramsbury and have recently been awarded with a Michelin plate as well as continuing to maintain their 2-rosette service. They have 9 boutique rooms available for guest as well as catering up to 50 covers in their restaurant along with providing a wonderful setting for functions. Furthermore, the cuisine served on site is of a 2-rosette standard and above with dishes centered on British and European cuisine. As Demi Chef you will be responsible for assisting with the daily tasks within the kitchen as well as reporting to senior members of staff along with handing stock and performing stock takes. Furthermore, you will directly assist the Chef de Partie and Sous chef in service as well as preparation times. As Demi Chef de Partie you can expect job security, training within the position to further yourself within the hospitality industry. The ability to work with some of the finest ingredients in the south west of England and knowledge of rosette level cooking. Candidates applying will need their own means of transport due to the location of the business. Calm under pressure, with good planning and organisation skills Willing to learn, and develop new skills, under the direction of a highly skilled, very experienced Exec Chef. Your role as Demi Chef: Organising and completing your work efficiently. Work alongside Chef de Parties. Working as part of a team & independently. Reporting to senior staff. Preparation of foods. Stock rotation. Section management. Complete tasks delegated to you in a timely manner. Ensuring consistency of preparation and presentation at all times, ensuring highest quality of food offered to all our guests. At all times working in a clean, hygienic and safe manner, ensuring Food Safety Manual guidelines are followed. Details Start date immediately. Salary £20,500 p.a. Share of tips. 45 hours per week. 28 days holiday per annum, will increase with time served 2 Years’ experience preferred. Pension scheme.
