Customer Service Assistant – Hull – £23,000

Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a prestigious FMCG manufacturing business who are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Assistant to join their bright and friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, thriving business in a role in which you’ll work closely with the Customer Service & Planning teams to provide an exceptional customer experience, proactively and effectively responding to enquiries/queries.

Customer Service Assistant Responsibilities
  • Providing effective customer support whilst building and developing customer relations
  • Working closely and co-operatively with various departments to resolve customer queries
  • Generating KPI packs for customers in order to measure our service performance
  • Working with customers on projects to ensure a smooth supply chain for both parties
  • Reviewing the customer service process and identifying development opportunities
  • Co-ordinating effectively with various departments to ensure a smooth-running process
  • Developing a close relationship with the sales team to understand key business movements that the department can support with
  • Ensuring all relevant operations and resources operate within legislative requirements and codes of practice including health & safety etc
  • Order inputting and general office administration duties
Required Skills & Experience
  • Excellent communicator across various formats including phone and email
  • Ability to prioritise workload and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Solutions focussed with exceptional customer service skills
