Job description

Support Worker job working with a leading mental health support charity in Bristol

Your new company
You will be working for one of Bristol’s biggest providers of support services. They work with vulnerable people that are living with mental support needs and may be at risk of homelessness. They provide housing advice and tenancy support to help their service users get back to independence and sustain their tenancy.

Your new role
You will be providing high quality practical and emotional support to service users. You will be signposting to agencies and community support groups; building good relationships; carrying out risk assessments and writing support plans o empower the service users and encourage a positive outcome.
You will be providing 1-1 support, delivering group activities, and providing drop in sessions.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will have good knowledge of case management, safeguarding, housing management and supporting mental health, including common medication.
You will have experience in mental health, housing and/or supported housing and responding to emergency/crisis situations.
You will be empathetic, well organised, good communication skills and a good team player.

MUST HAVE FULL, CLEAN DRIVING LICENSE AND OWN VEHICLE
