Building Surveyor (Housing) Wakefield

Your new company
This Building Consultancy works with a number of housing organisations and local authorities across the UK. They offer professional development, such as RICS, and progression.

Your new role
You will be managing a survey and project workload across Yorkshire, making informed decisions and managing the client relationship. You will undertake a variety of surveys, including: measured, dilapidation, party wall and some condition. You will also prepare specifications and costs for works, produce drawings using AutoCAD and undertake contract administration. This is a busy role which requires flexibility to meet deadlines and cover locations as and when needed.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will have completed a Building Surveying degree with previous experience surveying housing. You will have some experience of projects, such as refurbishment or new build, with an understanding of CDM and construction contracts such as NEC and JCT.
