Are you an experienced Warehouse Contract Manager looking to take the next step?Here at GXO Logistics, we’re looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join the team our site in Swadlincote -DE11 0BB. In this role you will be holding overall responsibility for the professional, efficient, and effective running of all warehouse operations pertaining to the contract.This is a permanent, full-time role where you’ll be predominately working 5 from 7 shift pattern, 40 hours per week, however occasionally we may need some flexibility… this is Logistics after all.Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £51,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.   • Effectively manage your team of Shift Managers, Supervisors, and all operational and administrative employees attached to the contract
  • Focus on optimisation, cost-saving and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and increased efficiency
  • You will liaise with client covering all aspects of warehouse operation, promotions, targets, errors and performance measures
  • Proactively control costs through ongoing planning, evaluation and execution of effective and efficient operation
  • Ensure the Health, Safety and general wellbeing of all employees, carry out appraisals and deal with employee relations issues
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previous Senior Management experience is essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders and have experience with working with a customer directly
  • Change management experience - supporting continuous improvement on site and helping to implement change
  • Driving licence is essential for this role as regular travel to national sites is required
