An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen in the new Community Adult Eating Disorders Team for a Nurse at 1 WTE to create a new team commissioned by the CCG. Please see attached Job Description and Role Descriptor for essential and desirable criteria.

We are seeking a Nurse who is looking for a new opportunity to develop and shape a Trust-wide Eating Disorder Community Team, starting in Northumberland. The nurse will have an opportunity to expand their skills and experience working within an adult Eating Disorder service. The post holder will provide and support weekly physical health monitoring, support care coordination (with support from a specialist nurse), provide therapeutic interventions and ensure the service provides the highest possible quality of care for patients. The post holder will be based within the Northumberland Community Treatment Team in West Farm, Cramlington and will work from other CTT bases across the county as required. The post holder will have strong working connections with REDS (Richardson Eating Disorder Service).

The service allows opportunities for clinical collaboration, outreach and teaching and is on the verge of a new commissioning contract which will expand this further.
