This is an exciting opportunity for a Communications and External Relations Co-ordinator, to join Corporate Communications to help shape public perceptions about the University and share Edge Hill’s success story far and wide.

In this role you will be joining a dynamic and creative team where no two days are ever the same. With a varied portfolio, you’ll be involved in a range of activities, whether it be creating content for our social media channels, looking after an alumni reunion, ensuring our contacts are up to date or networking with guests at high profile events - and everything in between.

The primary focus of this post is to support on all aspects of communications and external relations activity. You will lead on and coordinate key initiatives to support communications activities, alumni and stakeholder relations, as well as providing database management support.

About You

As Communications and External Relations Co-ordinator, you will:

  • have excellent interpersonal skills
  • be a team player with a real ‘can-do’ attitude
  • be highly organised with excellent administrative and project management skills
  • be able to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • be able to prioritise multiple projects, tasks and deadlines
  • have an eye for detail and be able to demonstrate creativity to create content in a variety of ways
