Commis chef, Boutique hotel, Salary at £18,000 p.a. tips, Ramsbury, Chefshare is recruiting for a Commis chef to join the team in our clients wonderful and award-winning boutique hotel. The hotel is located in Ramsbury and have recently been awarded with a Michelin plate as well as continuing to maintain their 2-rosette service. They have 9 boutique rooms available for guest as well as catering up to 50 covers in their restaurant along with providing a wonderful setting for functions. Furthermore, the cuisine served on site is of a 2-rosette standard and above with dishes centered on British and European cuisine. The successful commis chef may have some previous experience but as training will be given this is not essential. Furthermore, you will receive the highest standard of training from the highly respected head chef together with working with a great team. As Commis chef it will be your responsibility to achieve high standards of preparation whilst managing yourself efficiently. You will have jobs delegated to you by senior staff to which you are expected to complete in a timely manner along with keeping a clean and tidy section. We expect the successful commis chef to excel within this role as you will be awarded with a competitive salary as well as working within a Michelin awarded hotel. All applicants will need their own means of transport due to the location of the business. Your role as Commis Chef: Organising and completing your work efficiently. Working as part of a team & independently. Reporting to senior staff. Preparation of foods. Stock rotation. Handling of raw and cooked products. Complete tasks delegated to you in a timely manner.
