A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen in Neurosciences Outpatients Department for a highly motivated Nursing Assistant.You will be joining a friendly, supportive team, working within an exciting and challenging specialty, learning new skills and gaining experience in caring for patients.We are a dynamic unit aiming to provide a service tailored to the individuals needs’ as well as ensuring our staff are supported through regular clinical supervision, educational programs and on-going professional development. The ward actively supports nurse-led activities, offering opportunities for professional and personal development.Our focus is always to provide the best possible patient care and our values reflect those of the Trust: Compassion, Delivery, Excellence, Learning, Respect and Improvement.As a member of the team be able to prioritise and contribute to the delivery of high standards of care to patients, families and their carers in a safe and supportive environment under the direction of a registered practitioner. As part of the wider team assist in developing and maintaining services provided to patients and contribute to the safe, efficient and smooth running of the ward/clinical area/department. To maintain the dignity and privacy of all patients and their families and carers and respect their right to confidentiality. To complete and maintain on an ongoing basis a generic core and specific portfolio of clinical competencies and/or Care Certificate as required. To be motivated to review progress with Manager at regular intervals through the appraisal process.
