What To Expect

This role supports the Design Organisation by managing the key programmes and prioritisation for the Chief Creative Officer, thereby facilitating the delivery of all operational and creative matters arising as a consequence of the Chief Creative Officer’s remit – Product Creation and Brand Curation (the two creative hubs) within the context of our Modern Luxury positioning.

The successful candidate will provide efficient planning and programme management for the Chief Creative Officer so that their time is managed effectively and efficiently, on the highest priority/impactful inputs to the creative process. The candidate will work closely with the wider Design Leadership Team, and Enterprise wide Programme Managers, Business Managers , Directors and Executive Directors, who are stakeholders of the design programme delivery and business optimisation. This includes ensuring consistency of workflow, programme cadence and governance across the Creative Hubs ensuring the Creative aspects are taken into account correctly throughout the business and their processes.

With business wide exposure, this role will provide an excellent customer experience to internal customers and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Key accounrabilities and responsibilities:
  • The role will include further responsibility as the Chief Creative Officer focus on Modern Luxury accelerates.
  • Manage the key creative programmes, and their priorities by understanding the importance and impact of tasks to help prioritise so that the Chief Creative Officer creative leadership and input is most impactful to the processes.
  • Coordinate, develop and manage different programmes and processes on the behalf of the Chief Creative Officer to ensure the deliverables meet the strategic objectives for the Creative teams.
  • Be point of contact for the JLR Board and other senior executives for all items pertaining to Chief Creative Officer.
  • Coordinate the development of inputs to the Design leadership’s content for corporate business reviews up to and including Board meetings and PLC, as well as external partners and business matters that might arise.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Team to ensure Creative Reviews and PR activities are aligned to the overall business focus, cadence, and governance given the criticality of the relation between the Chief Creative Officer and the Chief Commercial Officer.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, developing positive relationships, ensuring that service and process objectives are agreed.
  • Act as conduit for information requests from the business and external agencies including responding to requests for management information and reporting.
  • Undertake any other work as directed by the Chief Creative Officer in connection with their responsibilities as may be requested.
  • Prepare the Chief Creative Officer for all matters pertaining to its Board responsibilities.

What You’ll Need

Essential:
  • Experience of collaboration and cross functional team working
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to interface and communicate confidently at all levels
  • Good MS Office suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel and experience of Google tools
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – ability to build and mange multiple internal and external relationships
  • An individual with a creators code mindset who is personable and easy to do business with and makes people feel special.
  • An individual who is resilient, energetic and enthusiastic, able to deliver results under pressure, whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs.
  • A good communicator who can communicate complex ideas.
  • An effective team player, actively leads, develops and supports

Desirable:
  • Evidence of leadership ability and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to adapt in fast moving environment
