Assistant Management Accountant

As Assistant Management Accountant, you will provide timely, informative performance reporting, analysis and commentary that is focussed on highlighting and explaining trends, key areas of interest and opportunities - allowing issues to be identified and corrective action to be taken.

In this busy and exciting role, you will assist with performance reporting and data analysis within the Finance business partnering team, as well as take a lead role in Business ERP systems maintenance and utilisation.

Accountabilities

Performance Reporting - Preparing periodic reports for review, submitting and circulating reports and preparing ad-hoc information for review (normally operational related)

Rolling Forecast – Providing information as required as part of the rolling forecast process, ensuring that information is accurate

Control Environment - Applying the commercial and operational controls (e.g. NPD, DWOR) and escalating breaches to management

Month End – Preparing and posting journals (normally stock and COGS related), querying unexpected or unusual information and preparing balance sheet account reconciliations (normally stock related) for review

Group Requirements – Preparing information according to the guidelines issued by group

IS and Business Processes – Maintaining the management accounting systems (e.g. ERP, costings) according to set procedures and escalating any issues

About you

Ideally you will have some exposure to a finance related role, with experience of reporting, analysis and use of ERP systems.

If you are a keen and driven individual with excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, computer literacy and the confidence to challenge behaviours at all levels - this could be the role for you.
