CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting our Ferndown, Dorset client who is currently in need of an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis, the temporary assignment is 3-4 months, however would also look to take someone on a temporary to permanent basis. This Assistant Accountant position will be working closely with the Financial controller and support in the overseeing of a team of two in transactional accounts.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants further exposure to Management Accounts.What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?
  • Support in the preparation of management accounts for multiple entities;
  • Budget preparation and weekly cash flow forecasting;
  • Intercompany accounts;
  • Providing reporting and analysis for management team;
  • Accrual and prepayments;
  • Balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Collation of monthly payroll.
Suitable Candidate For The Assistant Accountant Vacancy
  • As Assistant Accountant, you would have previous exposure supporting in monthly management accounts;
  • Currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification or qualified by experience;
  • Confident excel and systems skills;
  • Intercompany accounts would be highly desirable however not essential.

  • As Assistant Accountant the hourly rate will be £14.35-£17.95 per hour depending on experience;
