An established independent commercial insurance broker based near Bridport, Dorset is currently looking for an experienced Account Executive or Account Handler to join their team.

This broker prides itself on long term client relationships that have allowed it to spread across various lines of personal and commercial insurance. They are keen on the personal touch of speaking to their clients and forging an understanding of trust and competence.

What will the role involve?
  • The position will require you to deal with existing clients and seek out new business opportunities;
  • The classes of insurance provided are predominantly for the SME sector but cover a wide range from Property, Commercial Combined, Packages, Contractors all Risks, Motor Trade;
  • Providing new business quotations, mid-term adjustments and renewals with relevant advice, information and guidance - all within FCA guidelines;
  • This is a stable and integral position within the broking team and one that is rarely seen;
  • The broker has various sectors that will assist with cross referencing of leads and opportunities plus the technical knowledge to support you if required;
  • The majority of the role will require superb customer service and good commercial insurance knowledge.
Suitable Candidate
  • Good knowledge of commercial insurance and broking across various product lines and client sectors;
  • Cert CII is preferable but not essential or progression towards ACII.
