About the role

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic character with a desire to work with special educational needs and disabilities? Do you have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults? If so we are currently recruiting for support staff to work in a specialist SEN School in Oldham.

The ASC Teaching Assistant role will involve:

  • Supporting pupils in both 1:1 and small groups with their learning
  • Following any EHCPs that are in place for individual pupils
  • Reporting back on progress to promote best practice
  • Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented

Requirements

To be considered for the role of ASC Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Have a patient and caring nature
  • Be willing to work in Oldham

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
