Literacy Tutor (ESOL)

Bank, ad hoc flexible working (including twilight working).£23.80 Hourly rate of pay

Literacy specialist with early years experience to work with ESOL (16-18 students) on a 1:1 basis and within small groups to support literacy outside of the classroom. This will support in the basic acquisition of reading and writing skills Workshops will be planned and delivered using a range of different teaching resources and materials to stimulate students and support their curriculum. The Literacy tutor will work closely with curriculum staff and Progress Leaders.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be

  • a qualified teacher/or Teaching Assistant
  • Have proven experience of working with learners to improve literacy
