Overview

With operational responsibility for up to 20 Trade Counters in the South West of England, you’ll focus on incremental sales growth, energising and engaging your teams, and drive our service proposition to deliver the best experience to our customers. As well as progressing your own career, you’ll be be eager to develop your team through the help of our excellent training programmes.

Key responsibilities

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO BE AN AREA MANAGER?

Lead your team –you’ll motivate and engage others, acting as an inspirational leader to encourage success. Harnessing talent and developing for the future

Drive operational efficiency –responsible for overall P&L in your area, you’ll delivery top line results and profitability for all stores

Role model success –taking accountability for driving sales while coaching and nurturing existing and new managers, creating a stimulating and supportive environment

Collaborate– working together with your own reporting area and the wider business, you’ll share innovative ideas and best practice to improve footfall, sales and reduce controllable costs

Required skills & experience

YOU ARE…

  • Able to demonstrate multi-site management experience within the retail industry
  • An experienced manager with enthusiasm, drive and determination
  • A natural leader with experience in recruitment
  • Knowledgeable of stock management systems, auditing and cash management
  • Super passionate about retail, exposure to the Trade industry being desirable
  • Able to work flexibly and to travel in your area
  • A real people person, you’ll lead by example and love to bring out the best in your team
  • Friendly, flexible, reliable, honest and like to work hard!
