Overview
The Screwfix estate is ever evolving and one of the fastest growing retailers in the UK and Ireland with over 700 stores.
This fast paced role is a key is a pivotal part of Property department to ensure delivery of maintenance works for the Trade Counter Operation to ensure we can get it right for our customers first time. You will work within the Facilities team processing work requests and working closely with the Trade Counter estate and external suppliers.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure maintenance requests are delivered to expected deadlines and standards
- Communicate appropriate information to the stores and our suppliers
- Chase and communicate work progress updates
- Process work requests in line with the service level agreement
- Request surveys and actions from external suppliers and in house business partners
- Own specific elements of the facilities process, including updating details, providing information and supporting others to carry out tasks
- Manage and evaluate maintenance reports
- Review and manage payment schedules submitted by suppliers
Required skills & experience
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience of successfully managing a number of internal relationships across a variety of levels
- Demonstrable experience of working within a deadline driven environment
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications – Outlook/PowerPoint, Word & Excel
