Our client is recruiting for an Apprentice Data and Telecoms Installation Engineer to join their team in Isleham.

The Level 3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship Programme that we are offering, will allow you to kick-start your career in an industry that is constantly evolving, dynamic and transformational.

The Position

Job Title:

Apprentice Data and Telecoms Installation Engineer

Apprenticeship Course:

Level 3 Information Communications Technician

Apprenticeship Duration:

18 months

Location:

Isleham, Cambridgeshire, CB7 5RJ

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, Overtime available and Call Out Rota will be included once you are signed off and cleared.

Salary:

£18,000 - £19,000 per annum dependant on experience

Role and Responsibilities:

· Install phone system software to clients’ businesses

· Fault repairs

· Dealing with cloud-based date systems

· Cable work

Required Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

· Highly motivated

· Flexible worker

· Good communicator

· Have held a driving licence for 2 years

Desired skills and knowledge but not essential:

· Previous telecoms/data install experience

· Knowledge of cloud-based systems

· Install knowledge

· Knowledge of providers: Samsung, Wildix, Nec and Horizon.
