The Company
This company is looking for a IT Workshop Engineer Apprentice to join a talented team currently working with a range of customers across the telecoms industry.
The Position
Job Title:IT Workshop Engineer Apprentice
Apprenticeship Course:Level 3 Infrastructure Technician
Location:Fareham PO15
Working Hours:9 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
Salary:£10,400 - £13,000 depending on experience
Job Purpose:
Working within the internal IT department you will work with relevant departments in order to pre-empt and solve a range of IT issues.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take on their first step within IT and establish a career in the industry.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about Information Technology and able to provide a hands on approach to troubleshoot a range of hardware issues for the organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that work queues are fulfilled on time and within financial constraints
- Ensure IT resources are allocated appropriately so they meet customer and business needs
- Provide regular updates to the Service Operations Manager regarding delivery on SLAs and KPIs
- Ensure tickets are completed and closed in line with company procedures and customer SLAs
- Ensure all customer queries are handled appropriately
- Perform PC builds and carry out asset licensing reviews.
- Liaising with third parties and customers with regard to incident resolution and requests
- Support the implementation of new processes and policies that relate to Service Operations
