We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team and assist the Accounts Manager with internal bookkeeping tasks. The Accounts Assistant will use an array of equipment and software to handle the accounts payable and receivable process. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of QuickBooks as well as basic mathematical skills and competency in using MS Office programs such as Excel. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is expandable, flexible, has a strong work ethic and is eager to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Process account orders.
  • Respond to special orders.
  • Order invoices, credit memos, and credit notes by placing them in the correct order on the invoice binder.
  • Ensure that paperwork they have prepared is correct according to company procedures.
  • Type invoices and credit memos for approval prior to being sent to the customer.
  • Ship merchandise to customers.
  • Maintain records of inventory including warehouse, storeroom, and display room inventory by counting inventory on a regular basis.
  • Perform routine clerical tasks such as typing documents, filing documents, photocopying documents, binding documents, entering information into the computer system.

Salary: £16,747.00-£18,000.00 per year
