Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all information regarding financial data that is passed into the department is acted upon within specified deadlines including processing high volumes of manual and electronic invoices.

  • Ensure that receipts, payments and invoices are raised and posted accurately and in line with specified deadlines.

  • Complete supplier reconciliations, engaging with internal and external stakeholders effectively to resolve queries.

  • Ensure both manual and electronic filing is up to date and filed correctly in line with government guidelines.

  • Complete manual and system processes to achieve accurate and timely income processing.

  • Ensure external queries are dealt with promptly and effectively and in line with customer service standards.

  • Maintain, in consultation with the manager, procedure notes for the designated areas of responsibility.

  • Be aware of and follow Guinness Property policies and procedures, with particular attention to standards of customer service, health and safety, and equality and diversity.

  • Extract and format system data to generate financial information reports for the wider business.

  • Operate internal controls and take appropriate action in relation to identified errors.

  • Share information and knowledge with the team to achieve improved financial processes.
