Job Overview

This role will be responsible for the Accounting for overhead costs incurred within the UK Trading Entity. Tasks will also include a selection of P&L and balance sheet accounts linked to overheads, creating monthly balance sheet reconciliations and being a key contact with inter-company transactions and accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of specific Overheads accounting, both P&L and balance sheet
  • Adherence to financial controls in a Sarbanes-Oxley environment.
  • Involvement in preparation of month end, quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Liaison with internal auditors as necessary.
  • Continuous improvement of current processes.
  • Ad hoc support as required by the business.
Skills and Experience
  • Studying towards an accounting qualification, preferably at intermediate stage
  • Accounting experience
  • Superior Excel skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A driven, hard-working individual
  • Prepared to be hands-on
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
