Are you a school leaver looking for an opportunity to learn new skills and join a team of experts? At Techrete we have ‘learn and earn’ work opportunities through our paid summer work placement scheme, which starts on 26th July 2021.

About The Programme

Techrete offers a structured programme of learning over an 8-week work placement period. The programme provides an introduction to the various skills and trades that are conducted within the manufacturing environment of our factory at Brigg. The departments you will have an opportunity to obtain work experience within are:
  • Joinery/Carpentry
  • Steel fixing/welding
  • Production/Concrete
  • Finishing/stockyard
  • Quality Control
  • Planning

  • Mentoring by experts in the trades
  • On the job learning
  • Training in the use of tools and and introduction to various skills

Placement details

Full time - Monday to Friday

Early finish on Friday’s at 15:30pm
