We have an exciting opportunity for a Welderto join our Fabrications team based in Billingham.This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. You will receive a competitive salary, plus shift allowances and overtime. We offer 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays and pension scheme with a 5% employer contribution.

Paralloy Ltd is situated in the UK and has 3 sites - Billingham, Middlesbrough, and Sheffield. The business has a worldwide presence and is a major supplier to the petrochemical market. The success of the company has been built on developing quality products in rapid lead times supported by a focused approach to customer service.

We are looking for appropriately qualified and experienced Welders, with some fabrication knowledge, to weld tubes and tube fitments into assemblies to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities Of Our Welder Will Include
  • Welding to ASME IX standard in TIG process
  • Fabricating small fabrications from technical drawings
  • Operating auto welder
  • Working to weld procedures
  • Working to customer specifications
  • Flexibility to carry out operations in other roles
  • General housekeeping around work area
  • Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’s safety standards and procedures
What We’re Looking For In Our Welder
  • Apprentice trained
  • Knowledge of welding equipment and tools
  • The ability to operate auto welder
  • The ability to understand welding procedures
  • The ability to read technical drawings
  • An excellent understanding of quality issues
  • Good H&S and environmental awareness
  • Pendant Crane, Lifting & Slinging Experience
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
