We are looking for an experienced Fettlerto join our Statics Foundry in Middlesbrough.

This is a full-time role, working 38 hours per week. You will receive a competitive salary, plus shift allowances and overtime. We offer 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays and pension scheme with a 5% employer contribution.

Paralloy Ltd is situated in the UK and has 3 sites - Billingham, Middlesbrough, and Sheffield. The business has a worldwide presence and is a major supplier to the petrochemical market. The success of the company has been built on developing quality products in rapid lead times supported by a focused approach to customer service.

As a Fettler, you will fettle castings to the standard required by both Paralloy and our customers.

Responsibilities Of Our Fettler Will Include
  • Fettling castings to the required quality standards
  • Removing any defects
  • Being cost effective & as efficient as possible
  • Achieving targets of net tonnage per week
  • Operating crane to move molten metal to required location
  • Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’s safety standards and procedures
  • General 5S housekeeping / Operator PPM
What We’re Looking For In Our Fettler
  • Experience in the use of hand-held grinding tools
  • Abrasive Wheel qualification
  • Previous experience of working in a foundry or similar environment
  • Manual Handling experience
  • Good communication skills: both written and verbal
  • A good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues and quality standards
