We are are looking for kind and compassionate home care workers who are available either every or every other weekend.

Job Description

At Home Instead we value the amazing work that our Care Professionals do every day. In order to help you achieve the best for yourself and your clients, we offer:
  • Competitive pay - weekend rate of £14 per hour
  • Minimum 1 hour calls – with client matching for continuity giving you the time to care and get to know your clients
  • We are looking for Care Professionals available 8-2pm and/ or 5 -10pm every or every other weekend - Which ever is best for you!

Help clients to remain happy, healthy and thriving in their own homes! Responsibilities may include:
  • Companionship and wellbeing support
  • Help with everyday tasks from cooking a meal to light housework
  • Helping your client access their community by accompanying them to the shops or appointments
  • Help with washing, dressing or bathing
Qualifications

We give full training is given to all new Care Professionals, so experience in a Care setting is not essential.
  • Your smile, laugh and ability to listen will make an elderly person feel safe and give you the satisfaction that you are delivering great care and supporting them to stay home safe and independent.
  • It would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. However this is not necessary as we offer a great environment to develop your life skills, provide FULL industry-leading training from the start, and will support you throughout your career with us.
You will ideally have a driving licence and accessto a suitable means of transport.
