Location: Leeds, LS12
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per year
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Company Overview: Our Client are a leading building supplies distributor with multiple sites across West Yorkshire. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Team Leader / Goods In Supervisor to join their dynamic team in LS12 and play a crucial role in their operations.
Role and Responsibilities:As the Warehouse Team Leader / Goods In Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate receipt and storage of goods within the warehouse. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the goods receiving process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Organizing and allocating tasks to the goods in team members.
- Safely operating Counterbalene, Reach and Bendi forklifts to handle incoming goods.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate inventory updates.
- Inspecting incoming goods for damage and discrepancies, documenting findings as necessary.
- Maintaining a clean and organized goods in area.
- Training and mentoring new team members.
- Contributing to process improvements and suggesting innovative ideas to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in a goods in or warehouse supervisory role.
- Experience in taking container deliveries of goods
- Valid Reach or Bendi forklift licenses (we will consider expired licences depending on experience).
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Health and safety awareness within a warehouse environment.
