Warehouse and Material Management Team Leader

The role is based in: United Kingdom - Worksop (East of Sheffield)

As a Warehouse and Materials Management Team Leader, you will be responsible for the control and movement of goods from reception to despatch including export processes to ensure daily operational tasks site wise are completed. Leading the team in achieving teams, business goals and KPIs whilst driving "I choose zero" safety culture

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and drive a safe working environment in adherence with the Health and Safety policies.
  • Instil an effective and professional communication with all stakeholders to ensure day to day tasks are completed and business goals are communicated and achieved.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate all activities from Goods Receipt to Despatch including Import & Export to ensure timely completion of internal and external customers’ requirements. Comply with all business policies and legal requirements.
  • Creation, Maintenance and Adherence of Standard Operating Policies and Procedures, ensuring the department is Audit Compliant at all time.
  • Develop and Support Lean Continuous activities throughout the site.
  • Ensure that all departmental performance indicators and metrics are met, reported and managed in a timely manner.
  • Attract, Lead, Coach, Appraise and Develop employees to build a strong and effective team and introduce a positive culture in line with company’s values.
  • Evaluate operational performance of the team to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, job transfers, dismissals.
  • Contribute towards strategic initiatives, preparation of revenue budgets and promote areas for improvement
Qualifications

Our essential skills we are looking for:
  • Experience in Material Management or similar environment & Leading people in a CI Culture
  • SAP/Warehouse processes/Inventory/Export & Import Knowledge
  • Leader of people experience
