As an Assembly Operator you will be responsible for assembling components to produce our industrial switches and disconnectors.

You will be working within our world class Assembly Team at our Worksop, UK Site. You will be required to work 36 hours per week, working our Twilight shift, this is from 11am to 6:30pm (Mon-Thurs) and 10am to 4:12pm (Fri). We are offering a fixed term contract, initially for 6 months but this could change and will be dependent on production.

  • Undertake the production of all sub-assemblies and selected switch types within the Assembly department.
  • Undertake selected packing and basic assembly operations on Assembly product lines.
  • Demonstrate initiative and flexibility to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.
  • Show an awareness of orders and dates to meet delivery times and customer requirements.
  • Show an awareness of Kan-ban stock levels to meet delivery times and customer requirements.
  • Ensure tasks and output is to acceptable standards in accordance with the Company’s Quality Policy and procedures.
  • Observe and adopt safe working practices in accordance with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and all relevant health and safety legislation; ie HASAWA 1974 etc.
  • You will need to be customer-focused, a good team worker and take pride in the quality of the work you produce promoting safety and efficiency at all times.
