Your role will be to assist visitors – informing them what the complex has to offer, giving directions, providing train times and generally dealing with the variety and sometimes unusual questions visitors ask. During some events, a small shop may be open and you may be able to assist with the running of the shop as well. The role requires a good customer service perspective and the candidates should be able to demonstrate initiative and have the ability to work well as part of a team or alone. Volunteers are required at weekends and during school holidays on a flexible basis. Successful VIO’s can progress to Station Master roles with suitable training and experience.

Must enjoy meeting and dealing with the public.

This opportunity will be based at Butterley Station & Swanwick Junction.
