We are a small charity supporting families in South Warwickshire with a child of 6 or under. Our volunteers offer practical help, friendship and emotional support to parents who might be struggling with poor mental health, twins, domestic abuse.

What will you be doing?

We have a management board of five trustees, and would like to increase the skills of the board. We are particularly looking for people with accountancy, marketing, fundraising and business development skills to join our happy team. We have grown quickly since getting charity status in September 2019 and now have 5 members of staff and 32 volunteers at present. Supporting the charity to become more sustainable and resilient would be amazing!

What are we looking for?

If you have experience of working in accountancy, business development, fundraising or marketing please do get in touch. If you have experience of working in the charity sector or have been a trustee previously that would be an advantage.

What difference will you make?

Trustees hold an important position with Home-Start South Warwickshire. We currently have five trustees (all women) who are all local and generally have an interest in child health and wellbeing. We want to diversify our management board to represent our charity and are particularly interested in hearing from men and the BAME community. As a fairly new charity (receiving charity status in September 2019) we are going through a period of growth and development. Our trustee board will be motivated to push the charity forward to improve resilience and sustainability.
