About The Role

As a Programme Manager you will be the inspirational Leader who will inspire the team to shape and deliver successful programmes of Medium to High Complexity and you will establish and maintain good governance to keep all on track whilst bringing the planned value to both the customer and Siemens in accordance with planned outcomes including schedule and commercial commitments.

You will guide the Programme team to streamlining delivery and reporting based on Certinia (was financial force). and adopting SaFe Agile Advantedge delivery and simple rapid Land (based on the TSIA LAER approach) experiences for customers, whilst planning and delivering on the adopt and expand phases, delivering them successfully to recure Renewal.

Area of Responsibility

  • Leading the Programme to achieve the programme vision and realise business outcomes.
  • Providing strategic decision making for the programme
  • Working with the sales account manager and engagement manager for the programme/customer, set and align stakeholder expectations.
  • Work closely with customer outcomes management to build, inspire and motivate an effective programme team.
  • Motivate and drive excellence with the programme team, provide recognition and encourage team members personal development.
  • Ensure programme team members have materials and equipment to complete their tasks.
  • Contribute to programme team supporting activities such as - delivery of training, development of training content, best practice development and sharing experiences.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement based on lessons learnt from the programme and other relevant references.
  • Help to drive improvement initiatives in the programme and organisation.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Science or Engineering, Computer Studies, Business or similar
  • Academic background in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or sales
  • Understands and has demonstrable years of experience in Programme and Project Management Delivery including but not limited to account planning, opportunity & pipeline management, project integration, scope, schedule, finance, quality, human resource, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrates a thorough professional know-how in people management, based on practical, demonstrable experience.
  • Builds positive and productive relationships required to effectively deliver Programmes and Projects
  • Actively participates in providing practices, feedback and lessons learnt to support continuous improvement.
  • Project Management accreditation desirable
