The Role

In this role, you will be configuring application packages such as SCADA, SQL Server and reporting. You will design visualisation and reporting of materials handling systems, to a given specification, within cost and timescale constraints.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Configuration of standard packages
  • Design, production and test of visualisation systems
  • Design, production and test of data manipulation, information analysis and reporting systems
  • Production of all associated documentation including design specifications, plans, test specifications and manuals
  • Commission visualisation and reporting systems
General Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the project team as appropriate to ensure that they are kept informed of the status of design and commissioning activities at all times.
  • Maintain and use wherever possible, standard procedures
  • Provide technical assistance to Customer Services engineers once the job has been handed over, especially during warranty period.
What We Are Looking For

To apply for this role, you should have / be able to evidence:
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience of SCADA configuration is essential for this role
  • Strong IT skills, including configuration of operating systems, installation of software packages and basic network troubleshooting
  • Experience of data manipulation, eg: advanced Excel skills
  • Experience of SQL databases
  • Examples of situations where you made decisions whilst working on a project
