CK Group are recruiting for a Veterinary Sales Account Manager to join a company in the animal health and pharmaceutical industry on a 12 month contract basis.

As the global population grows, so too will the need to meet the demand for safe, affordable food for all.The role of the Sales Account Manager for the Ruminant Cattle sales team exemplifies the business vision and this important position will be responsible for management of a key number of large veterinary practices in the designated region, mainly focused on dairy cattle.

Salary:

Hourly £16.36 and £20.45

Veterinary Sales Account Manager Role:

  • Customer Value Selling – ability to execute effective sales calls through focusing on customer needs and wants to drive loyalty, value andsales
  • Account Management – ability to partner with key accounts, using strong commercial acumen and customer focus, to build long-term sustainable relationships
  • Data analytics – ability to derive key insights from real world data (e.g. milk data, disease data and herd performance data etc.) to influence and change current and future working practice of vets and farmers
  • Provide dairy management/technical support – including monitoring (e.g. diseases, management and tracking) & vet training
  • Around 75% field time (with vets, farmers and farms), including some overnight stays.

Your Background:

  • University Bachelor Degree (preference for Agricultural, Life Science, Veterinary Science or Business)
  • You will have a demonstrable interest and passion for the dairy industry and its stakeholders (vets, farmers, nutritionists, etc.)
  • You will have a deep knowledge of the dairy industry and/or agriculture or demonstrate willingness to learn
  • Veterinary experience on a farmwould be advantageous
  • Demonstrated success in persuasion, influence and negotiation skills

Location: This Veterinary Sales Account Manager role will be UK wide. Field based travel with some overnight stays based on customer and team requirements. Preference is for candidates to reside in Manchester or Preston regions or anywhere in the North West.
