Devon Norse provides a range of frontline services to several local clients, doing so through the joint venture partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council.

We deliver commercial catering services to a growing number of schools through the South West. We have an opportunity for a Catering Assistant at our partnership with Ilfracombe Junior School.

In this role, you will be part of a small on-site team providing lunchtime meals to the school, taking responsibility for;
  • Ingredient and meal preparation for the cooking staff
  • Service and dining room service and management
  • Kitchen maintenance and cleaning
  • Stock replenishment and monitoring
This is a part time, permanent position. You will be working from 09:30 - 14:00, from Monday - Friday. We’re offering 16 hours a week, with your hourly pate being £8.91.

Your Experience

If you have previous experience in a commercial catering, cooking or dining environment this would be beneficial, however we are happy to provide support and training if you are looking to start a career within the industry.
