Devon Norse represents the strategic partnership between Devon County Council and Norse Group for the delivery of commercial services to a developing portfolio of local clients and businesses.

We’re currently looking for Casual Cleaners to join our team at Ilfracombe Academy, based in Ilfracombe. This is a 12 month casual contract, with an hourly rate of £8.91. You will be working Monday - Friday, from 15:00 - 20:00.

In this role, you will support a number of our local sites by providing both cover for absences as well as support when further services are required. You will be part of a team delivering commercial cleaning services to our clients, being responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of sites within small teams.

Your Experience

Previously working in a commercial cleaning environment would be beneficial, however we are happy to provide training and support to the right individual. You will need to be able to demonstrate;
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Good eye for detail, capable of delivering a high level of customer service
  • Able to follow written and verbal instruction clearly
  • Ability and flexibility to support a number of sites, ideally holding a full UK driving licence and/or able to travel as required
