You will be working with unaccompanied children and young people who have previously entered the country in a clandestine way or planned through the National Transfer Scheme. As a Social Worker you will need a wide range of skills including knowledge of immigration systems alongside a knowledge of specialised services on offer in Oxfordshire. The role can be very rewarding as you support a child through their journey of adapting to a new life in the UK.
