Are you an experienced FP&A lead with a background in manufacturing? Are you looking for the next step in your career to move into a multisite role with direct reports? We are looking for a UK Ops FP&A Lead to join our well established FP&A function. You will be responsible for driving forward the operational activity of the country organization as business partner to the UK operations/support services leads, providing financial oversight & supporting key operational, business & strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
  • For UK, financially validating, reporting, forecasting & insight to operational & support services performance including (but not exclusive) spend analysis, productivity/sourcing savings, cost out actions, inventory & AP performance and roof top & make/buy projects.
  • Provision of UK key operational and support services related KPI’s and analysis for pulse process, the Monthly Operating Report, Board packs and other reporting
  • Overall responsibility for the plant/site FP&A teams for your country
  • Add tangible country financial value through ownership of the annual budget, quarterly reforecasts and longer-term strategic planning
  • Country Governance over operational related activities including CERFs & FP&A reporting deadlines
  • Prepare succinct and clear presentations of Country pulse, MOR, budget, forecasts and the 3 year strategic plan for operational & support activities.
  • Co-ordinate compilation for your country of the annual budget and quarterly re-forecast packs, and monthly actuals focusing on P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Capex and relevant commentary thereon
  • Translate financial and non-financial operational metrics into actionable operating plans to support key stakeholders in driving the business forward
  • Develop, Coach & lead the plant FP&A team
  • SAP / One Stream – Functional Super User (Data, Analysis, Reporting etc)
Background/ Experience Required
  • Excellent business acumen and sound financial understanding of what underpins performance along with the ability to communicate numeric and financial information to non-Finance stakeholders
  • Experience within a sizeable Manufacturing or Construction business
  • Comfortable working with big data sets and translating results into meaningful analysis and incorporating into forecasts
  • Advanced excel skill and experience and initiative in building robust financial models
  • 3yr+ of mid management experience in a finance or accounting organization,
  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
