A large and well-established company are seeking a Trim Repair Technician to join their team in Chipping Warden on an ongoing contracting basis paying a rate in the region of £15.00 per hour.

Our client, an experienced car marketplace with an impressive history spanning nearly 70 years, are currently looking for an Interior & Exterior Trim Repair Technician with a focus on plastics and upholstery, who is experienced in working with a variety of makes and models of vehicles and confident in a range of interior and exterior Trim repair and rectifications to join the Workshop Team.

The successful interior and exterior Trim Repair Technician will be working on a range of makes and models of vehicles and will benefit from a salary of £15.00 per hour with permanent opportunities for the right person.

TRIM REPAIR TECHNICIANDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Using SMART repair techniques to fix interior damage including scuffs/scratches to plastic and wooden trim panels, cigarette burns, wear and tear to seat fabrics and general wear and tear.

  • Repair and restoration to:
    • Velour
    • Leather
    • Veneer / Wood
    • Plastic / Texture panels and trim
    • Vinyl trim
    • Steering wheel
    • Dashboard
    • Use of modern SMART repair techniques included heat bonded fibre techniques
    • Filler work
    • Sanding to re-texture
    • Spray painting

The ideal Trim Repair Technician will have excellent attention to detail with a desire to produce high quality work. You will be required to have previous experience within an Interior SMART Repair role and possess great time management skills as well as being a team player.

WORKING HOURS:

48 hours per week

Working a Shift Pattern – 4 on 4 off – 6am – 6pm.
