A large and well-established company are seeking an Automotive Polisher / Detailer to join their team in Chipping Warden on an ongoing contracting basis paying a rate of £14.50 - £15.00 per hour.

Our client, an experienced car marketplace with an impressive history spanning nearly 70 years, are currently looking for an Automotive Polisher / Detailer who is experienced in working with the latest makes and models of vehicles and confident in all aspects of minor rectification to join the Workshop Team.

The successful Automotive Polisher / Detailer will be working on a range of vehicles and will benefit from a salary of £14.50 - £15.00 per hour with permanent opportunities for the right person following a contracting period.

AUTOMOTIVE POLISHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Machine Polishing
  • Mopping
  • Undertake rectification of scratches and scuffs
  • Flattening, polishing and touching up
  • Required to do damage tag assessments if the work cannot be completed by them which then goes back to the workshop
  • Undertake all other tasks and activities as requested by the Workshop Manager
  • Ensure all policies and practices are adhered to at all times

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent attention to detail with a desire to produce high quality work. You will be required to have previous experience within an Automotive Polisher role and possess great time management skills as well as being a team player.

WORKING HOURS:

48 hours per week
Working a Shift Pattern – 4 days on, 4 days off.

PAY:

£14.50 - £15.00 per hour PAYE (inclusive of Shift Premium).
