An opportunity has arisen within the Fleet Transport Unit for an experienced Transport Officer based at NCC’s Telford Street Depot.


Reporting to the Fleet and Depot Team Manager, the successful applicant will have previous experience of working in a busy transport office.


The ability to react quickly to changing priorities, be comfortable operating to tight deadlines and the ability to carry out investigations are essential.


The candidate may be required to work at various locations within the city boundary, sometimes outdoors and be prepared to work outside normal office hours where necessary.


The candidate will be able to demonstrate familiarity with various fleet transport databases and be required to liaise between NCC maintenance contractor and all operational areas in regard to the service and maintenance of vehicles.
