The Role

As a ‘Transformation Partner’ you will help OEMs in creating a transformational roadmap to achieve their vision and objectives. There will be continuous iterative exploration and investigation of past business performances to gain insight and drive business transformation. You will create new business models, articulation of next generation capabilities, and best practices.

• Engage with client and act as advisor during client engagement.
• Get into details of stated and unstated problems of the industry and customer, hence, articulate the same to client stakeholders with a view of the possible solutions.
• Lead / support the RFx responses, proposals, proactive ideation, and solution / offering creation.
• Provide input to technology, platform, and product roadmaps based on deep insights from global industry developments.
• Collaborate with various functional teams within TCS (R&I, CTO, Engineering Services, IT Security, Infra, Network, BAU) and any other third-party vendors.
• Publish POVs (Point of View) and white papers.
• Develop practical cost-effective solutions to problems and lead business transformation within the value stream.

Your Profile

Key skills/ knowledge:

• Richness understanding of the structure and dynamics of the marketplace.
• Excellent understanding the business processes to identify trends, patterns, and suggest innovative solutions.
• Excellent leadership skills, stakeholder management skills including CXO level engagement.
• Personal Brand Building knowledge - Executive Presence, digital footprint (thought leadership).
• SME (subject matter expert) in any of the following areas:

- New Product Innovation including Product life cycle Management

- Supply chain and distribution process; value chain and ecosystem of the MFG industry

- Manufacturing Operations of Discrete and Process industry

- Customer Experience Management – Sales, Marketing, After-sale

Experience required:

• Experienced in one of the values streams in the manufacturing industry.
• Experienced in Building Frameworks and Assets.
• Demonstrable experience of team mentoring, forming, and leading teams.
• Experienced in standard and niche Software Products / Technology.
• Experience of working within a highly specialist and cross-functional team, multiple clients, and leadership stakeholders in an agile way.
• Demonstrable experience of driving growth and transformation through innovative solutions.

Good to have:

• Good experience or understanding of transforming business operations in each value stream leveraging data, analytics and technology like Cloud, RPA, Digital Twin etc.
• Understanding of Design Thinking methodology.
