We are looking for an Azure Technical Architect to:

• Guide members of a techno-functional team
• Work closely with the stakeholders in understanding requirements, analyzing approaches towards an optimal solution and building it successfully with the agile squads
• Sell the architecture vision to stakeholders and will be looked upon to identify risks early as well as come up with mitigation strategies
• Provide guidance on design alternatives and their implications (function, cost, complexity etc.) to select the most appropriate design
• Convert the high-level requirements into a complete solutions architecture that the development team can implement
• Specify necessary extensions to existing Elastic Path components and/or APIs, integrations with external systems, cloud foundation services, deployment topology, and so forth.
• Design and implement IaaS/PaaS/CaaS and micro services architecture in public cloud
• Communicate the architecture to project/business stakeholders
• Transition the project to the development/build team, explain the design and remain available to address questions or problems that arise during implementation
• Participate in constructing architecturally significant aspects of the solution when required
• Assist with pre- and post-sales guidance, time and budget estimates, and the design and coding of proof-of-concept solutions
• Be an architectural and design resource for professional service projects, clients, and partners
• Be a strong advocate for the client’s technical needs
• Improve efficiency and reduce cost of client projects through identification and harvesting of reusable components

Skills required:

• Deep knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS features
• Good knowledge of Azure IaaS (VMs, VNET, NSG Rules, VPN Gateways and Express Route)
• Creating, deploying, configuring and scaling applications on Windows Azure PaaS
• Experience on Azure App Service Model (Web Apps, Mobile Apps, API Apps and Web Jobs)
• Experience on Azure storage services like SQL DB, Tables, Files and Blobs
• Experience in Microservice development on Azure using Container Service and Service Fabric
• Experience of executing cloud native projects in Azure with DevOps
• Strong experience in designing and delivering Azure solutions
• Good communication skills with the persona to build relationships with business colleagues and communicate on business terms
• Confident in leading discussions on technology strategy, influencing stakeholders having gained their respect and trust
• Strong architecture experience in large organizations
• Exposure to Agile delivery
• Commercial acumen
• Appreciation of recent digital trends and emerging technologies
• Ability to work under pressure, handle complex change and prioritize key activities
• Analytical and decision making skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Deep understanding in traditional and emerging cloud technologies
