Salary:£9,236 - £10,606 (pro rata of £22,847 - £26,234) plus excellent benefits

Contract Type:Permanent, fractional, 15 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Location:Paignton, Devon

Do you have experience of teaching counselling, or relevant industry experience? Are you a creative thinker, problem-solver and good motivator?

We are seeking a Trainer Facilitator in Counselling to join our Society Educational Development (SED) team.

A level 4 counselling qualification is essential, coupled with relevant industry experience. You will have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, alongside a keen understanding of student-centred learning and the ability to develop effective working relationships with both students and staff.

You will be responsible for instructing/facilitating learning for students enrolled on a range of social sciences and counselling programmes. Assessing students as appropriate by formal/informal method as required by external examining bodies/internal procedures. Contributing to curriculum development and implementation. Assisting in the implementation of pastoral and welfare systems provided for students. Continuing personal development in the areas of both subject knowledge and teaching/instructing methods and developing/maintaining good working relationships with external and internal customers.
