Are you an experienced mental health professional or social care worker with a recognised professional qualification working in a mental health setting? Do you meet the KSA requirements as set out by the BABCP? Have you considered training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and getting paid to do it?

If so, our Trainee High Intensity Therapist programme could be for you!

We are recruiting across Nottinghamshire, including Nottingham City, Mid Notts (Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark & Sherwood) and Bassetlaw, please note you only need to make one application.

Getting to know Us:

Everyturn NHS Talking Therapies and Vita Health Group are delighted to have launched a new clinical partnership in April 2023, bringing together over 40 years of mental health experience, to support individuals and communities across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. We are looking for pioneering, skilled clinicians to join us on this exciting journey and play a central role in shaping the delivery of NHS Talking Therapies across the region.

The Role:

As a Talking Therapies partnership, we are looking for aspiring Cognitive Behavioural Therapists to join our Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies service as Trainee High Intensity Therapists (HITs) in the March 2024 cohort at the University of Lincoln. The course you will undertake is the one-year, full-time, PG Dip in High Intensity Psychological Interventions (HIPI).

This is a permanent position with a start date of 6th March 2024 at the University of Lincoln (Enrollment must be completed by 7th February 2024). There will be a service induction prior to this.

A typical working week includes 3 days of clinical practice within the service and 2 days attending university or completing study. University days will be hybrid training with a combination of remote and face-to-face teaching. Whilst your clinical practice is likely to include some remote working, you will be required to attend one of our offices or venues across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire for part of the week to deliver face to face sessions.

You will provide High Intensity CBT interventions recommended by NICE to clients with moderate to severe common mental health disorders and will receive weekly supervision provided by both the university and the workplace.

You will work Mondays to Friday and must do at least one 12pm - 8pm shift.
