Job overview

Gynae Theatres are looking to recruit enthusiastic and caring individuals who are able to work within a challenging theatre environment delivering safe and effective practice.

The gynae team, currently based on the City Campus, is a newly developing service, providing oncology and general gynae surgery to the community

The successful candidate will need to be aware they will be working in the operating theatre and be exposed to a variety of operating procedures.

Please note, that the successful candidate for this post maybe required to work across site to support service needs and developments.

To work as an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team assisting with patient care activities under the direct supervision of a Theatre Practitioner.

Following appropriate training and assessment of competence undertake identified clinical and non-clinical duties.

The post-holder is not required to initially hold statutory qualifications, but is expected to attain the care certificate.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
