An experienced manager is required to undertake the operation, organisation, management and development of Blackwood Miners Institute as both a successful entertainment and events venue and to oversee the management of the Council’s Arts Development Team, based there.
This is a key role in the development of the Institute as the Council works to achieve its transformation and commercialisation objectives as set out in the business plan for Blackwood Miners Institute. Therefore, the post would be of particular interest to a manager who shares these ambitious development plans and can contribute to and drive forward a particularly challenging business agenda.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, an Arts Management qualification is desirable and will have experience in management in a similar environment.
Shortlisted applicants will be expected to attend an interview to be held either at Blackwood Miners Institute or via Microsoft Teams, depending on prevailing restrictions, on 4th October 2021.
