An exciting opportunity exists for two dynamic individuals to join the team at the Caerphilly County Borough Centre for Sporting Excellence and Leisure Services.
The posts will be 37 hours per week (average) and will be permanent.
The facility operates seven days a week, and staff will be expected to work their hours on a rota basis that will include a mixture of day, evening and weekend working.
The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe delivery of the CCB Centre for Sporting Excellence and Leisure Services sporting events programme.
Key functions of the role include:
- To assist in the day-to-day operational duties, service standards and performance of the facility to ensure the highest possible standards of customer care.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, building hygiene, cleanliness and presentation to support performance excellence and continuous improvement.
- Deal efficiently and effectively with customer suggestions and complaints, in accordance with Council procedure.
- To support local schools and colleges to develop and facilitate sporting activities.
- To provide advice and support to local clubs to assist with club development.
The role is customer facing in a busy sport and leisure environment and all applicants should be flexible with regards to evening and weekend work. A positive ‘can do’ attitude is required along with the ability to communicate effectively across a broad spectrum of people.
