Job Advert Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an Accredited Fingerprint Bureau. You must have experience in working under ISO 17025. You will be responsible for the tenprint processes within the Fingerprint Bureau. Which includes dealing with the quality and processing of fingerprint forms, ensuring that the accuracy and integrity of the National Police and Ident1 databases are maintained. You must have experience of Livescan and Ident1 systems and an understanding of PACE 1984 and POFA 2012.

This role is suitable for part time/job share workers due to operational requirements.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to RV Vetting.

Please be aware that if your current post is within the Public Service Centre, if you were employed after 1st February 2017 you must have completed 2 years’ tenured service before applying for any other roles.

If you are currently involved in a PSD Investigation then you will not be eligible to apply for this role.

A member of staff who has obtained a temporary or fixed term post within the Force on an open competitive basis following internal and external advertising and has been selected through a proper selection process, will have the right to be made substantive in that post should the post become permanent (which must be the same process as that used for a permanent post).
