Job Advert Description
WECTU is looking for a Regional Training and Development Lead Co-Ordinator to join us.
You will be part of a small Prepare and Prevent team to lead and quality assure the co-ordination of all training design and delivery for WECTU personnel across Wales.
If you have experience of working practical workplace experience in a managerial/co-ordination role.
We want someone that can forward plan effectively, think creatively and be able to work alongside colleagues, officers and our partners.
We need someone that is creative, has new and innovative ideas up their sleeves and a real interest in how to make our training campaigns stand out, whilst having a positive impact on Wales and keep our communities safe.
This role is not suitable for part time/job share workers due to operational requirements.
The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
Please be aware that if your current post is within the Public Service Centre, if you were employed after 1st February 2017 you must have completed 2 years’ tenured service before applying for any other roles.
If you are currently involved in a PSD Investigation then you will not be eligible to apply for this role.
A member of staff who has obtained a temporary or fixed term post within the Force on an open competitive basis following internal and external advertising and has been selected through a proper selection process, will have the right to be made substantive in that post should the post become permanent (which must be the same process as that used for a permanent post).
